In addition to being the health freak at school, I was also in a weird religion with even stricter parents. No hair coloring, makeup or clothes showing skin above my knees. Don't forget the glasses, braces or my obsession of being a horse girl to the point I wished I was actually a horse. In an effort to beautify what I could, I discovered natural beauty tips and tricks on YouTube, and at 14, my passion for healthy, glowing skin began. I was so skin obsessed, my parents had to lock me out of the fridge because I treated it like Sephora instead of a kitchen appliance (you name it, I've put it on my face). I found corrective skincare when, at just 16, I audaciously attempted to clear a friend's grade 4 cystic nodular acne in high school (for reference, this is a super advanced case of acne). During this year-long journey of clearing her skin (which I successfully did!), my uncle visited us and brought along his girlfriend at the time, who's an Aesthetician. Upon learning about this magical career, and to my parents dismay, I dropped all college applications and aspirations to pursue skincare. I've now been a licensed Aesthetician for over 10 years. As one of the top facialists in Tucson, I've cleared hundreds of acne cases, erased hundreds of lines, age spots and helped thousands of people feel great in their skin- aka the best feeling. Being healthy always felt more like a curse growing up. It was NOT cool to whip out a whole grain bread sandwich with spinach and "ants on a log" during lunchtime as a kid. My childhood was all ricemilk, watered down organic orange juice, broccoli, wellness formula pills and begging for a sip of some freaking regular milk. My grandma is an OG Naturopath and she heavily influenced the way my mother looked at health. This foundation naturally shaped the way I looked at beauty standards and practices. As my skincare practice grew, I realized that in order to achieve true skin health, we need to focus beyond the skin, to what's inside! The skin is connected to everything and is a reflection of BOTH extrinsic and intrinsic factors. I pursued additional health education and became a Certified IIN Health Coach in 2025 to further help my clients in getting the best skin of their lives. From there, I learned how to clear my own acne holistically, rather than just topically. Whether you're struggling with acne or aging, you can feel and look great in your skin again. I've spent over $100k in my career pursuing continued education in both skincare and business over the last decade. Just 6 years after getting my license, I built a career where I make money while I sleep, have complete flexibility and control over my schedule, and most importantly, make a real impact on people's lives.
